Girl Power

Women empowerment refers to making women powerful to make capable of deciding for themselves. Women have suffered a lot through the years at the hands of men.

Education for girls must be made compulsory so that women can become illiterate to make life for themselves. Women must be given equal opportunities in every field, irrespective of gender. Moreover, they must be given equal pay. We cane empower women by abolishing child marriage.

Most importantly, the shame for divorce and abuse must be thrown out of the window. Many women stay in abusive relationship because of the fear of society. Parents must teach their daughters it’s okay to come home divorced rather than in a coffin.

Women notably mothers, play the largest role in decision-making about family, meal planning and diet. The duties of women were confined to the domestic space: raising children, taking care of household affairs and growing their young daughters. Their second jobs consist of the household chores and the duty of raising children.

The word “Women Empowerment” itself implies that women are not powerful enough. They need to be empowered.
